Apollos Body Massager
If you`ve ever had a toy car `driven` over your arms or back, you`ll have a pretty good idea how using the Apollos Body Massager feels. Except that, unlike the four rubber wheels on a rigid body that most toy cars have, the Apollos has sixteen plastic wheels, each smoothly geared, with each articulated to follow the contours of your body.
The Apollos is best used either on smooth, thin clothing, or directly on the skin, as thick clothing can bunch up and prevent the action of the wheels - a bonus is that, because of the free-wheeling action, no lubricants are necessary on the skin. Light-to-medium pressure works best with the Apollos, and the experience can be either sensual and relaxing (if used slowly), or invigorating and refreshing (if used briskly).
Apart from the usual difficulty of accessing one`s own back, the Apollos is fairly effective when used on oneself, giving relief to tired arms, shoulders, legs and feet with little effort.

The bongers were recommended to me on a recent massage course and WOW! they are great. Not only will they be great to take pressure of my hands at work but after a hard day they help to loosen my tight muscles.
Even my mad cat likes to get "bonged" (very gently though) and goes mad when I show him the bongers. If you work in a physical job they are a must have. 100% brilliant!

Fun Back Massager - Octopus
excellent product which arrived within two working days. this fun back massager is fun and easy to use. it is very effective and takes care of sore muscles. you can use it almost anywhere on body but i found it particularly good for use on the back. and most importantly you wont have tired hands or fingers.

I attended the one day Walk In Back Rub massage course. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the start, the course was very thorough, and the tutor, Jason Norman, was excellent. There was a great deal of information, all very clearly explained, and demonstrated.
There were plenty of opportunities to practice the techniques on each other, to ask questions, and Jason gave everyone individual attention, adjusting posture, technique, and giving constructive feedback throughout.
I liked the caring approach to the client, making every moment of the experience count, as well as the emphasis on the therapist`s wellbeing through correct posture and techniques.
It was definitely the best course I have attended, thoroughly enjoyable, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn chair massage.

I recieved my bongers just 2 days ago and they already have had plenty of use on my upper back and shoulders in particular where I get quite a bit of aching after a full day giving holistic treatments. They certainly help to releive the aching and I am looking forward to the benefits I will get using them on clients also. The Omni massage ball is a neat little product. Small, attractive and very easy to use.
My husband has Parkinsons Disease. He has a syringe driver fitted which delivers his medication through a line and needle into his tummy area. The drug causes damage to the tissues but massage can reduce this.
The Omni massage ball has proved to be very effective.
It is reasonably priced too.

1 Day - Chair Massage Training*
The one day chair massage workshop was excellent!!.. We learnt a fantastic massage routine which was very well explained by Jason, he made it a really enjoyable experience. It was a small group so we were easily supervised and also enough time to practice and to discuss our doubts. The whole day went by really quickly and IT gave me lots of confidence to give a really good quality back massage.. I highly recommend it to anyone! Thanks Jason.

"Easy Neck" Neck Massager for sore neck
Have only been using this for a few days but already I can feel that it is doing some good. Takes a little bit of getting used to, i.e. how much pressure to use but quite easy to get the hang of after a couple of goes. Would have liked some instructions in English but picture on product is fairly self explanatory. Would recommend to others.

I bought this foot massager as a present but have been lucky enough to try it out for myself as well! I`m very impressed with the quality of the item - it feels strong and sturdy, the balls move smoothly, and there are long rubber strips on the base to stop it sliding around as it is used. It`s great that the massager is big enough for both feet at once, and it`s very relaxing to use. The person I gave it to was very happy indeed with his present!

These massage sandals were a good value buy, compared to others on the market (e.g. Kenkoh). I bought them as a Christmas present for my dad who put them on straight away. The Velcro straps means even people with sore, swollen or wide feet can fit into them. Delivery was fast, considering the Christmas post. All in all, highly recommended.

Very effective for massaging the neck muscles and good for pressure on acupuncture points. the advantage is that you can handle the pressure yourself and release tension to promote good blood circulation.I advise not to press too hard though!

The 1 day course with Jason Norman was very good. It was informative, clear and easy to follow. He made everyone feel at ease and made it fun. Everyone there for the course was really nice and we worked well together and gave each other good feedback and encouragement. Jason was very patient and made sure everyone understood and mastered a technique before moving on to the next.
Posture and the use of bodyweight were a big part of the course. So you`re not only learning new ways to treat people, but at the same time you`re learning to take care of yourself.
I certainly recommend for massage therapists wanting to learn chair massage to do this training.

Hand held massager with heat
Have used and owned a Massager with heat from a different Company for many years it had problems so was time for a new one. My Golfing does at times cause shoulder and Knee pains to say nothing of other areas that have a few aches ,mainly caused by being an active person who does not always show common sense. My new Massager is from a different world it has many settings but not confusing with the heat option being an added bonus. Have now used it several times it does such a good job I am almost looking forward to the next time. A no fuss purchase in fact highly recommended all-round.

Tiger Tail Rolling Muscle Massager
I ordered the Tiger Tail Massager in particular as a friend said he had one and it worked!!! I get very tight muscles pretty much everywhere through sports, I mainly ordered this with the legs in mind but this can be used on other parts of the body also if needed, I find with the Tiger Tail you can apply as much or little pressure as you require and cover quite a large area, it came complete with a small instruction booklet and the delivery was very speedy, I am very happy with my purchase and would use walkinbackrub.co.uk again no question.

I was up for trying anything so ordered it. It arrived very quickly and my wife was given the operator`s role!
When it was rolled diagonally along each shoulder blade I experienced a very sharp stabbing pain (both shoulder blades) which quickly disappeared. It was also used as suggested - along the spine, which felt very relaxing. It might sound very far fetched, but after months of pain and only using this roller once I felt immediate improvement. The stabbing pains I experienced in my shoulder blades when first used has not recurred.
I am now using this as a daily routine and the effects have been excellent. I can only say that this has worked for me but might not work for every type of back problem, but for the low cost it is well worth trying. My wife is also using it to help with her sciatica problem.

This shiatsu massager thing is robust yet flexible, stops me having to lean against door/window handles to relieve the aching of muscle spasms, and I can attack the knots before they worsen. I am taking it with me everywhere I go!! (easy because it actually fits in my bag)

I have chronic stiffness in my shoulders and neck and have seen osteopaths, physios etc. I recently saw a massage at work specialist who suggested that I try the Bongers. My husband has used them on me and they have really helped relax my shoulder muscles. Massage Ball (9cm)
I bought the foot massage ball on the recommendation of my physiothreapist, having had quite a bit of trouble with painful arches. Whilst it takes a little getting used to, the overall massage effect from the spikes on this product are so much better than the smooth surface ball I have used previously.
It`s a good product, at a good price and performs exactly as expected.

The Mediflow Water Pillow
I purchased the Mediflow Water Pillow about six weeks ago in the hope it would help with my neck and shoulder pain and am happy with it. I would recommend being prepared to experiment with the amount of water in the base, as I have in order to obtain optimum support and relief for your particular problem areas. Good buy!

I have just finished the one day On Site massage course with Jason Norman and was really impressed.
There is a lot of information to absorb but I think that`s a positive as it shows how much goes into the treatment, how the companies prioritises staff training and that it`s value for money.
I was also impressed at the emphasis on paying attention to looking after yourself whilst doing the treatment in postural alignment as this is something many massage courses miss out.
Thanks again Jason, I look forward to further training with Walk In!

These massage sandals are very hard to find in Britain, so it was a joy to find walkinbackrub. I`ve worn massage sandals for thirty years now and can highly recommend them. They take a bit of getting used to at first but soon become comfortable and they keep bare feet warm, even in chilly weather. They`re my favourite footwear most of the day (except for formal occasions when shoes are a must) Unfortunately, They wear out fairly quickly, 6-9 months is average, the nodules break under the toes depending on how you walk. Either I`m heavy on my feet or they`re not very robust but still worth every penny.

"Easy Neck" Neck Massager for sore neck
The only reason I`m giving this neck massager 4 stars and not 5 is because there are no English instructions with it. This Japanese neck massager and fairly straightforward to work out how to use it - but go easy with it at first because you can exert deep pressure to your neck. It`s great once you get a feeling for it, you can work away at knots and tension with precision.

A very fast paced day learning lots of effective Shiatsu techniques that will definitely make the receiver feel relaxed and invigorated.

When they wore out, I tried to get some more, but the closest I could find were the Scholl exercise sandals, which were not as good. These sandals from Walk in backrub are fantastic and just like the ones I used to have. Delivery was by next day, so full marks for service.

The heat option combined with the tapping action gives a lovely massage and seems to get well into the muscle knots. As a circus performer I often have really knotted tight shoulder muscles. I have done a fair amount of work using an on site massage chair but without any actual massage training in using one, just adapting my own shiatsu. I found this massage course very useful both in terms of learning some very clever techniques to enhance my treatments and in terms of specific things to avoid so as not to detract from the client`s experience. I had never had a treatment at this clinic (Walk-in Backrub) and I was impressed at how well structured the basic 10 minute massage sequence is, with as much attention given to stillness and calm as to activity, despite the time constraints of a ten-minute massage treatment. The course itself was also very well structured. Our teacher, Jason Norman, was very clear in his explanations and very supportive of everyone. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to do on-site massage in a chair. Excellent!

This is a fabulous On-Site Massage Training course!. The class consisted of ten people, a number which, as Goldilocks might say, was just right. The teacher and Tom Cruise look-a-like… or was that just me was exceedingly welcoming and friendly, explaining the routine methodically and clearly.
In truth, there was a lot more to learning the 10-minute back rub than I had envisaged, (really, how difficult can it be I thought…). But the course was very well structured and very well taught, and by the end I felt confident with my ability to perform the whole routine. Great course, great teacher, great value. Two thumbs up!

I purchased the mini omni massager as part of my anniversary gift to my hubby. It fits perfectly into a weekend-away size toiletries bag! We have both benefited from using it, and the only drawback I would say to purchasing the mini as opposed to the ordinary omni, is that my husband finds it a bit small to hold for very long I`m small so it doesn`t bother me. The Walk-in Backrub Training Day was excellent! Good value for money. It was a whole day hands on work, learning simple and very effective seated massage techniques where we were able to clear doubts and receive feedback from our trainer. It gave me tools to start working straight away.

Luxury foot roller massager
I bought this foot massager for my pregnant partner who was suffering with swollen feet. She was reluctant to use it at first but now she loves it as it is not too harsh on her sensitive feet and finds it very comforting. There are no leads so it is easy to store and pull out when she gets a few minutes. She uses the foot massager everyday, so now I have to wait my turn to get a `look in`. A great buy!

I really enjoyed the chair massage course. The group was small and the whole day hands-on. The follow up one-on-one session with our trainer was invaluable and gave me the opportunity to have my techniques assessed and fine-tuned and also to ask any questions that i had from my practice sessions.

Using one of these balls for sitting is a whole different ballgame.
They require "active sitting," that is, constant, unconscious movements of the back, torso, and legs to stay comfortably on top of them this is the best possible remedy for back pain and disc problems, as well as being an excellent prophylactic device against same.
In addition, venous stasis can`t happen, since you are always moving just a bit, flexing and extending the muscles in your lower legs. It`s tremendous fun to just bounce up and down while you work. People will think you`re nuts: Too bad!
Take it from a doctor, this is the way to go.
